July 3 Monday Life in the RV Park

Earl Grey tea, an egg and sausages again, I started my day a little after 7:00. Clean up after breakfast, and then a shower. Eventually I went for a walk. I cut it short when a series of texts seemed more important for the moment. I sat under the cover by the laundry to finish my texts. While there another man sat down and started a conversation. His name was Bill. He worked for the power company laying down wooden roads to protect the ground and keep the trucks out of the mud when working on high tension lines. After a half hour I continued on my walk and decided to do two laps around the camp roads.

Lunch was a simple turkey sandwich with mustard, carrots and an apple. Afterwards I did a little RV maintenance. I prefer to drive with empty water tanks but my next RV park does not have a water hookup. I decided to fill my fresh water tank. It’s a lot of extra weight to carry but I have no idea where I will be able to find a fill spot. I had spoken with the Saratoga RV Park owner and was guaranteed that the well water was chlorinated and safe for RV tanks. I tasted it. It tasted like chlorine. I had run out of bottled water and started drinking the tap water. It took some getting used to.

I swept off the Pine needles that were stuck to the underside of the awning. I think they got there when the awning automatically rolled in during the weekend storms. I then used the T9 spray to lubricate the step hinges and the awning hinges too. I also did a visual inspection of the RV exterior. Everything looked in good shape,

I went for another walk before dinner. Dinner was a simple salad livened up with fried asparagus seasoned with Mrs. Dash Garlic and Herb seasoning.

I was feeling very tired and went to bed before 10:00. I fell asleep watching STNG and woke up to DS9. I shut off the TV part way into ST Voyager.
